There are 90 days to go until the 2018 World Cup begins and talkSPORT.com is counting them down by looking at the competition's most wonderful players.

This list, featuring Pele, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane , looks at the greatest moments from the most iconic footballers – from great goalscorers and majestic defenders to sensational scoundrels and those who just didn’t know the rules.

90) Michel Preud’homme: Belgium, goalkeeper (1990, 1994)

It's a whimtastic entry based largely on an impressive Brian May thatch, but Michel was a world-class keeper who required that David Platt volley to beat him at Italia ‘90 and went on to win the Yashin (now Golden Glove) Award for best goalkeeper at USA ‘94. Belgium reached the last 16 of that edition but were beaten 3-2 by Germany.

talkSPORT will be in Russia to bring you all the best action when the 2018 World Cup begins in June.
