Roma have turned down a bid in excess of £35million from Napoli for Liverpool target Alisson, according to reports in Italy.
The 25-year-old has emerged as one of the top young goalkeepers in Europe this season and he has been attracting the interest of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain amongst others.
Liverpool are also in the hunt to sign the Brazilian, who has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Roma so far this term.
Alisson has also been attracting interest from Serie A too and Napoli were the first to make their move for the in-demand stopper.
According to SportItalia, Maurizio Sarri's side saw their opening offer of £35m rejected by Roma, who are intent on keeping hold of their number one.
But while Alisson continues to pledge his future to Roma, interest in him is expected to grow and the Italian giant's could yet face a difficult summer in trying to keep hold of him.
