Chelsea are out of the Champions League after succumbing to a 3-0 loss to Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
The Blues were able to grind out a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Stamford Bridge, but two goals from Messi either side of Ousmane Dembele's strike ensured the Catalan club went through 4-1 on aggregate.
However, Antonio Conte's side can consider themselves unlucky to have lost by a three-goal margin as they threatened the Barca goal numerous times.
Most notably, Marcos Alonso hit the post from a free-kick on the stroke of half-time and the Spaniard had a stonewall penalty rejected by the referee after the break.
But there are no prizes for putting on the pressure, so what went wrong for the Premier League side?
