Manchester United are closing in on a £35million deal for Wolves target Anderson Talisca.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Besiktas from Benfica but it appears that he will be moved on permanently this summer.

Promotion-chasing Wolves have been strongly linked with a move for the attacking midfielder, who has scored 10 goals in 24 league outings for the Turkish club so far this season.

But according to reports in Portugal, it is Manchester United who are currently in pole position to land him when the window opens.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola has suggested that the Old Trafford club are already deep in negotiations with Benfica about a deal which could reach £35m.

United boss Jose Mourinho has been a big fan of Talisca ever since he was in charge of Chelsea and it appears as though he might be about to finally get his man.
