Harry Kane has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle but is only set for one month on the sidelines, Tottenham have announced.
The England striker suffered the injury during Spurs’ 4-1 victory at Bournemouth on Sunday, being forced off the field in the first-half and later leaving the stadium in a protective boot.
There were claims in newspapers this week that Kane could be ruled out for six weeks with the problem.
But Spurs have now confirmed will return to first-team training in April.
