Manchester United will look to tie up a deal for Valencia full-back Jose Luis Gaya in the summer, with Matteo Darmian expected to depart Old Trafford.

The Italy international has been a peripheral figure under Jose Mourinho this term, clocking up just 847 minutes of action across all competitions.

Darmain, who was extensively linked with a move to Juventus during the January window, has also attracted interest from Roma in the recent past too.

United are likely to sanction a deal for the 28-year-old and, according to Tuttosport, have set their sights on a deal for Valencia full-back Gaya.

The 22-year-old has made 29 appearances in all competitions this term and his impressive performances have seen him linked with a number of Europe's biggest clubs.

United are reportedly leading the charge and hope to tie up a deal for the Spaniard once they have managed to ship Darmian out.
