Liverpool are ready to meet Nice's demands for highly-rated midfielder Jean Michael Seri in the summer transfer window.
The Ivory Coast international came close to leaving Nice last summer and appeared to be on his way to Barcelona, before the Spanish giants unexpectedly pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute.
Seri remained put and has since enhanced his reputation further with a string of fine performances in Ligue 1.
However, he may not have to wait long for a move, as according to Buzzsport.fr, Nice have opened the door for the midfielder to leave for the right price.
Liverpool are claimed to be leading the race for his signature and are said to be confident of hammering out a deal for the 26-year-old at the end of the season.
The proposed sum is around the £30m mark and with Emre Can's departure also expected, Seri could well be drafted in as a replacement for the German.
