David Ginola believes Paris Saint-Germain should look to appoint Arsene Wenger as manager if they sack current boss Unai Emery following their Champions League exit.
The mega-rich French giants’ European hopes were ended on Tuesday night as they were knocked out by reigning champions Real Madrid in the last 16.
PSG suffered a 2-1 defeat in Paris, with Real progressing 5-2 on aggregate.
The club’s Qatari owners have made winning the Champions League their primary target after their huge spending in the transfer market, which will hit over €1billion when Kylian Mbappe joins them permanently from Monaco in the summer.
Another premature exit from Europe's top table is likely to see the axe fall on Emery, and Ginola believes his former club should make a move to land Wenger as his replacement.
The 68-year-old Frenchman has been urged by fans to leave the Gunners at the end of the season after a dreadful campaign, which could see them miss out on silverware and fail to qualify for the Champions League.
And they could get their wish, with Ginola telling talkSPORT Wenger would be the perfect man to reinstall some French flair into the PSG side.
