Brighton 2-1 Arsenal: Misfiring Gunners rated and slated

2018-03-04 16:42:40

Arsenal lost their fourth game in a row in all competitions after being inflicted to a 2-1 defeat at Brighton.

The Gunners, who went into the contest in poor form having lost 3-0 to Manchester City twice in the same week, made a terrible start when Lewis Dunk gave the hosts the lead following bad goalkeeping from Petr Cech .

They found themselves 2-0 down on 26 minutes when Glenn Murray headed beyond Cech's reach after some wayward Arsenal defending.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's cheeky flick pulled one back just before the break to give the north London club a fighting chance.

They improved after the break but Arsenal were unable to breach the Seagulls' back line to lose yet another game.
