It’s safe to say Petr Cech has not enjoyed the move across London since leaving Chelsea in 2015.
The Arsenal ‘keeper has failed to replicate the sort of form which saw him seamlessly replace Carlo Cudicini at Stamford Bridge and win four Premier League trophies and one Champions League in west London.
When he joined the Gunners, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho voiced his concerns at allowing such a key member of the Blues’ squad to join a potential title rival.
Perhaps he shouldn’t have been so concerned.
During Arsenal’s trip to Premier League strugglers Brighton on Sunday, the Czech star had a first half to forget as he was at fault for both of Brighton’s goals.
He flapped at a corner to allow Lewis Dunk to volley home, before allowing Glenn Murray’s header to somehow slip through him.
Arsenal fans were quick to criticise Cech for his costly errors, and made their feelings known on social media.
