Is Liverpool's second XI good enough to beat Newcastle?

Jurgen Klopp has said he believes the strength in depth has kept the Liverpool squad "awake" as they look to carry on their good form.

The Reds have won their last three games including a devastating 5-0 win at Porto in the Champions League .

This evening they take on Newcastle in the league with a fully fit squad, minus Georginio Wijnaldum who has a cold.

And Klopp said having options was important to maintaining their standards.

He said: "In my first season when we got to the Europa League final after 64 games it was difficult to manage.

"That was not a Liverpool problem but a general problem. If you have no European football you train all week and prepare for the next game. In England, you have games every two or three days.

"At the moment all the players are fit and want to play. That is a good sign. They are keeping the pressure up with their performances. There is Trent [Alexander-Arnold], for example.

"Now Joe [Gomez] needs to show up after being out for one or two games. Stuff like that. Alberto [Moreno] went out with injury then Robbo [Andrew Robertson] came in. I do not need to say anything.

"They see and it keeps them awake for the rest of the season because there is a lot to go for."

The teams have been confirmed for Liverpool's trip to Newcastle but how could Liverpool's second XI line up, and where would this side finish in the Premier League ?
