Arsenal responded to their Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City at the weekend with another 3-0 loss to the Premier League leaders.

The Gunners were blown away by Pep Guardiola's side with three cracking first-half goals.

Bernardo Silva's curling effort gave City the lead before his Spanish namesake David Silva doubled their advantage.

Leroy Sane turned in Kyle Walker's cross just before half-time to all but finish the contest.

The second-half had far less incident but January signing Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang had a penalty saved by Ederson to cap off a miserable night for Arsenal .
