AC Milan are set to offer Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona target Alessio Romagnoli a new and improved contract in an attempt to ward off interest in the defender.
The 23-year-old has been ever-present for the San Siro giants this season, making 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring three times.
His impressive performances have seen the versatile defender linked with a mega-money move to Manchester United , Chelsea and Barcelona.
Milan, however, are desperate to keep hold of Romagnoli and, according to Sky Italia, they are preparing to offer him a new and improved contract.
The Italian has so far been unwilling to comment on the speculation linking him with a move away from Milan but he is expected to take up the opportunity of signing fresh terms.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was extensively linked with Romagnoli last summer but with his own future uncertain, a move to Stamford Bridge seems unlikely.
