Since then, Berahino, 24, has missed eight weeks of football due to a suspension, transferred to Stoke for £12million, and played a total of 43 games.

39 of those appearances have come in the Premier League , meaning Berahino has endured one of the longest goal droughts for a forward in the history of the competition.
