Arsenal were torn apart by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final and while there's no shame in losing to such a good team, some individuals came in for some major criticism.
Gary Neville was one of those people not impressed and when David Silva made it 3-0, he let rip.
“I mentioned the walking of the Arsenal players and the retreating runs of [Granit] Xhaka and [Aaron] Ramsey, who were jogging and ambling back; they are an absolute disgrace," he told Sky Sports during their commentary.
“They’re walking on a football pitch at Wembley, giving up. Spineless.”
The camera then displayed a young Arsenal fan crying, leading to more criticism from Neville.
“Look at that,” he said. “That’s what you’ve caused,” explaining that all fans want to see is effort and to know their players are giving their all.
