Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has revealed Liverpool’s flexibility is the secret behind Mohamed Salah’s incredible goal-scoring form.
The Egyptian forward scored his 31st goal of the season in the 4-1 defeat of West Ham, which had Reds' fans raving about his performance .
Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Emre Can were also on target for Klopp’s side, and the German believes the cerebral nature of his players is benefitting Salah.
He said: “In football , it’s all about doing the right thing at the right moment, like Mo’s desire to get goals.
“To be honest, you could see the flexibility and being fluent depends on all the players around him – that’s how it is.
“You cannot only be one player who is flexible and fluent, that doesn’t help.
“If you see how we change positions, how Roberto immediately defends each moment for Mo and Sadio is doing the same. “
The former Roma man has been a revelation this season, with Italian legend Francesco Totti claiming the 25-year-old is one of the best in the world, but can be even better.
