Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are the two clubs battling to sign Manchester United target Mauro Icardi.
The 25-year-old is one of the hottest properties in global football after scoring 42 goals in his last 56 Serie A games for Inter Milan .
His wife and agent Wanda Icardi revealed earlier this month that two clubs conveyed serious interest in signing the striker during January.
And now the Corriere dello Sport has claimed it is PSG and Real who are the most interested parties.
Both are expected to return for Icardi when the summer transfer window opens with cash offers to tempt Inter into selling.
Manchester United hold a long-standing interest in the Argentine striker, who has a release clause set at £80million.
As talkSPORT told you earlier this month, Inter are working hard to get the clause removed from his contract but they may not be able to do so before one of the interested parties lodges a concrete offer.
