Real Madrid are said to be monitoring Raheem Sterling’s situation at Manchester City , with reports claiming his future at the club is uncertain.
The England winger’s long-term future at the Etihad Stadium has become the subject of renewed speculation following claims that the club have not yet begun talsk over a new contract.
The 23-year-old will have two years to run on his current deal at the end of the season.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, he has not yet been told when negotiations over an extension will start.
That has reportedly alerted Real Madrid , whose manager Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of the young forward.
Sterling has been in sensational form for Man City this season – he is the Premier League’s fourth highest goalscorer this season with 15, but he has 20 goals in all competitions as well as 10 assists.
The England international, who joined City from Liverpool in a £50million deal, is thought to be valued at around £70million.
