Zenit St Petersburg 3-0 Celtic (agg 3-1): Hoops rated and slated

Celtic are out of the Europa League after succumbing to a dismal 3-0 defeat in their last 32 second leg match at Zenit St Petersburg.

Brendan Rodgers' side went into the game at the Krestovsky Stadium 1-0 up but Celtic got off to the worst possible start when an unmarked Branislav Ivanovic headed home a corner from the right on seven minutes.

The Bhoys failed to get any kind of control of the game throughout and they were behind on aggregate when Daler Kuzyayev's long-range effort somehow found its way into the net on 27 minutes.

The Scottish club tried to come out of their shells after the break but the tie was all over when Aleksandr Kokorin budled the ball in after latching on to Ivanovic's dangerous cross.

So another disappointing in night for Celtic in Europe, but what went wrong?
