Harry Kane is a doubt for Tottenham’s FA Cup clash with Rochdale this weekend.
Spurs travel to the League One club on Sunday as they look to book a place in the sixth round.
However, they may have to contend without star striker Kane who picked up some knocks in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Juventus .
The England international will be assessed on Saturday before a decision is made as to whether he is in the squad for the trip to Rochdale.
However, either way, Kane will definitely be back for Spurs’ Premier League match with Crystal Palace on Monday February 26.
“No, no we are not worried,” said Pochettino when asked if Kane could miss Tottenham’s game with Palace.
“But of course the effort he made in the last few weeks was amazing and we need to take care.
“After he twist his ankle, he received some knocks [against Juventus]. We need to assess him tomorrow.
“If he is fit, maybe [there] is the possibility to play [against Rochdale]. If he is not 100 per cent, maybe if he cannot to play 90 minutes, he is good to be on the bench.
“Or if we see he is not capable maybe to play, I don’t know half an hour or 45 minutes or 20 minutes, he stay here - like with all the players that we assess.”
