Liverpool target Kevin Strootman says he is happy at Roma - but admits his future is still not clear.
The talented Dutchman has been linked with a move to the Merseyside club, who believe he could be a decent replacement for Philippe Coutinho .
Despite reported interest during the January transfer window, Strootman remained at Roma although speculation regarding a move away from the club continues.
Now the 28-year-old, who has made 20 Serie A appearances so far this term, has broken the silence on his future.
When asked about a potential move away from the club, he told Sky Sport Italia: “You never know in football .
“I am happy here and Roma supported me after the injury, so I’d like to win something, but this season we’ve only got the Champions League left as a target and that would be incredibly difficult.
“ Napoli and Juve are stronger than us, but we are fighting for third place. We’d take fourth too, as we need to get into the Champions League.”
