Manchester United remain the frontrunners to land long-term target Fabinho, according to reports in his native Brazil.
United boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the 24-year-old Monaco star, who can play at right-back and central midfield, and has been regularly linked with him over the past 18 months.
As talkSPORT told you last month, it was even suggested that United were plotting a big-money swoop for Fabinho before the window shut.
However he stayed put at Monaco for the time being, although a summer departure is on the cards after he revealed he is open to a new challenge.
And, despite interest from the likes of Juventus and Atletico Madrid , Old Trafford is still seen as his most likely destination.
Brazilian outlet Lance has reported that United are very much in pole position to land Fabinho, who has played 155 times in Ligue 1 over nearly five seasons with Monaco.
